Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. Calileo works without signing up. Your data stays on your device and – if iCloud is turned on – in your private iCloud, so your iPhone and Apple Watch stay in sync.

How does Calileo import my weight from Apple Health?

Allow Calileo to read “Weight” in the Health permissions. Entries from other apps or your smart scale then appear in Calileo automatically – even in the background.

Why does the rest timer ring even in silent mode?

The rest timer uses the iOS alarm feature (AlarmKit). For it to work, allow “Alarms” for Calileo the first time you start a timer. You can change this any time in the iOS Settings under Calileo.

What do my friends see?

Only what you share: weight history, goal, cut/bulk phases, training, achievements and streak. Meals, height and BMI stay private. A friend only sees your form photos and videos after you approve their request – and only once.

How do I remove a friend or stop sharing?

In the Friends tab, swipe a friend to the left and remove them. “Stop sharing” under “Your profile” in the Friends tab ends sharing completely – your shared data and form photos are then deleted.

How do I block or report someone?

In the Friends tab, swipe a friend, a cheer or a form photo request to the left – or tap “…” at the top right of a friend’s page. “Block” hides the person immediately, “Report” sends us a prefilled email. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content that isn’t allowed.

How do I delete all my data?

Delete the app from your iPhone and Apple Watch. To remove the iCloud copy, go to iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage → Calileo. Values written to Apple Health are managed directly in the Health app.

Where does the product data come from when scanning?

From the free database Open Food Facts (ODbL licence). If a product is missing or a value is wrong, you can add it yourself right in Calileo.
